Protecting your personal data matters to us. This privacy policy explains what data we collect on our coming-soon landing page, how we use it, and what rights you have.
We currently only collect email addresses from people signing up for early access. No tracking cookies. No analytics tools.

What Data We Collect
Early Access Sign-Up
When you sign up for early access via the form on our landing page, we collect:
- Email address · to notify you when proov launches
This is optional. Without an email address you cannot sign up, but we collect no other mandatory information.
Automatically Collected Data
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically stores technical data:
- IP address (anonymised / temporary)
- Date and time of access
- Page visited, data transferred
- Browser type and operating system
This data is used solely for the operation and security of the website and is not linked to your email address.
Email Delivery via Resend
We use Resend to send confirmation and launch emails. When you sign up for early access, your email address is transferred to Resend and processed there.
Provider: Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA
Purpose: Sending the confirmation email after sign-up and the launch notification
Data stored: Email address, registration timestamp, delivery status
Retention: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
Resend privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
Data transfer to the USA: Resend is a US provider. Data transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
What Resend Does with Your Data
Resend processes your email address solely for the purpose of sending emails on our behalf. Resend does not use your data for its own marketing purposes. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Resend pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
When You'll Hear from Us
- Immediately after sign-up: Confirmation email ("you're on the list.")
- At launch: A single notification when proov is available
We do not send newsletters or advertising via this list.
Legal Basis for Processing
Your email address is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Cookies
Our landing page does not use tracking or analytics cookies. We only store technically necessary information in your browser's localStorage:
- proov_subscribed · Stores locally whether you have already signed up, to prevent duplicate registrations. This information does not leave your browser and is not transmitted to us.

Data Security
Your data is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS. We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy when legal requirements change or we introduce new services. The current version is always available on this page. This version dated: March 2025.
